Our drying containers are refurbished insulated containers (available both in the standard sizes TC 6 and 12, as well as custom-made in special lengths from 6 to 18 meters according to customer requirements) which are equipped with fans, heating, spraying equipment, fresh air dampers and exhaust fans, as well as climate and wood moisture measurement, etc. It is the control system, the programs, and our many years of experience as a drying system manufacturer that turn the container into a high-quality wood dryer, which we precisely tailor to our customers' requirements.
The wood stacks, fitted with measuring points, are moved into the dryer on a track. Drying programs for approx. 50 different types of wood are stored in the Siemens PLC control system. After entering the wood type, wood thickness, and desired final moisture level on the touch panel, drying can be started. Fans mounted on the side of the wood stack push the air through the heating coils and distribute it evenly over the entire chamber length. Heating can be done with hot water (hot water heating coils) or with electric heating coils. Dehumidification is achieved by air exchange using an exhaust fan and fresh air dampers. Optionally, an exhaust air-supply air heat exchanger can be used.
Our Air Classic drying containers can be set up outdoors; only the control elements must be housed in a frost-proof location. We offer optional solutions for this.
Track and trolley, as well as visualization, heat treatment programs, wireless wood moisture measurement, printers, and much more are offered as additional equipment.
